Manchester Christmas Markets run from early November to just before Christmas Eve across Albert Square, St Ann's Square, Exchange Square, Piccadilly Gardens, King Street, New Cathedral Street, and Market Street. Roughly 300 stalls, peak evening crowds, and 9 million visitors across the season. Parking becomes impossible after 17:00, the Metrolink is standing-only on Friday and Saturday evenings, and black cabs are queued twenty-deep at the Midland rank.
R5 runs a flat-fee door-to-Markets service for the whole season. Collect from your Cheshire home, Stockport address, or city hotel, drop at the closest approved point to Albert Square, give you a driver's number for when you want picking up. The chauffeur is five minutes away in a warm car the whole time you're browsing. No more pretending you're fine walking the 20 minutes back to a multi-storey with a tote bag of glühwein glasses.
