Getting to the Markets.
Manchester Christmas Markets run from November to just before Christmas (the council confirms exact dates each year) across Albert Square, St Ann's Square, Exchange Square, Piccadilly Gardens, King Street, New Cathedral Street, and Market Street. Roughly 300 stalls, peak evening crowds, and 9 million visitors across the season. Parking becomes impossible after 17:00, the Metrolink is standing-only on Friday and Saturday evenings, and black cabs are queued twenty-deep at the Midland rank.
R5 runs a door-to-Markets service for the whole season, with a fixed fare quoted for each journey. We collect from your Cheshire home, Stockport address or city hotel, drop you at the closest approved point to Albert Square and give you the driver's number for when you want picking up. If you'd rather, the chauffeur waits nearby while you browse.

Albert Square drop
The main Markets site. Pre-road-closure drop in the morning, off-closure pickup from Princess Street after 18:00.
St Ann's Square / New Cathedral Street
Quieter, more upmarket section. Drop at King Street approach, pickup from Exchange Square north.
Piccadilly Gardens Markets
Drop on Mosley Street, pickup from Portland Street. Our chauffeur holds on Aytoun Street while you browse.
Exchange Square Big Wheel
Closest approach via Corporation Street. Post-ride pickup from the Cathedral Gardens side.
Hotel → Markets → Restaurant
Drinks in the city, an hour at the Markets, then dinner at 20 Stories, Rosso, The Ivy or Hawksmoor Deansgate, with one driver for the whole evening.
Out-of-city Markets run
For families in Cheshire and Stockport: door to the Markets and back, without a multi-storey car park.
