Range Rover Autobiography — R5 Executive
The British standard

Range Rover Autobiography · R5 First Class

Presence,
without theatre.

The saloon a doorman recognises without comment. A British object for the couple that prefers to arrive un-photographed and on time — for two passengers, never more.

First class · for two

A Range Rover does not announce itself. It corroborates. It tells the door, the gate, the host that you are expected — and then it leaves the room without comment.

A two-seat car by R5 convention. Specified for the couple, the principal-and-guest, the executive-and-counsel — not the group. Built for British roads; calibrated for British weather and British discretion.

02 — Two registers

The same car, in two voices.

The Autobiography earns its name by switching tone without changing form. A school run on Tuesday morning. A black-tie pickup on Saturday night. Same chauffeur, same plate — a different cabin entirely.

i. The day register

Quiet utility.
The school gate, the surgery, the gallery.

Charcoal interior, daylight ambient, conversation easy. A car that fits a Cheshire driveway, sits low in a Mayfair forecourt, and never makes a guest feel staged.

  • iFront-passenger seat available; chauffeur reads the room.
  • iiBoot capacity for three cases, instruments, art crates.
  • iiiHeated rear seating; cabin pre-warmed to last preference.
  • ivSpeed managed for guests on a call or a brief.

ii. The evening register

Black-tie composure.
The opera, the Connaught, the gala.

Executive seating engaged, ambient warmed three stops, cabin pre-cooled for evening dress. Arrives at the steps; idles invisibly until called.

  • iPrivacy glass to UK private-hire spec.
  • iiHolding pattern within 90 seconds of any London address.
  • iiiPaired refreshments to brief; bottled water as standard.
  • ivChauffeur in plain black tie for evening engagements.

An entrance you do not need to make

"The car arrives, the door opens, the photograph never happens."

03 — On discretion

The job is to be forgotten — by everyone except the person in the back seat.

Discretion is not a feature; it is the brief. Four operating principles that apply to every Range Rover booking in our fleet, without supplement.

i.

Plate-only correspondence

Pickup confirmed by registration, not by name. No board, no sign, no phone-up.

ii.

NDA-bound chauffeurs

Every driver signed under standard non-disclosure. Repeat assignments by request.

iii.

Encrypted itineraries

Routing held on UK servers; no cloud sync; deleted seven days post-trip.

iv.

Considered routing

Approach roads, holding patterns and quiet alternatives pre-mapped for high-attention venues.

Range Rover Autobiography detail

04 — A British object

Solihull, since 1970. A car that learned to behave.

Designed for estate roads and a Belgravia kerb in the same afternoon. Aluminium-bodied, air-suspended, hand-stitched in the Midlands — the kind of object that ages into its role rather than out of it.

Our specification is the Autobiography long-wheelbase: extended rear legroom, executive seating, four-zone climate, and a refusal to attract a second look.

05 — One car, a day

School gate at eight. Opera at eight.

Daytime — Range Rover

08:15 — Wilmslow, Cheshire

The school run, in private.

Chauffeur in plain navy, daylight ambient, conversation light. Cases handled, the kerb at three minutes past. The same car the gate-staff have waved through all year.

Evening — Range Rover

19:55 — Royal Opera House, Covent Garden

The evening, with composure.

Black tie, ambient warm. Arrives at Bow Street without ceremony, holds at Floral Street between acts, returns at curtain — un-noticed, un-photographed.

Range Rover cabin

i. The cabin

Hand-stitched in Solihull, calibrated in Cheshire.

Twenty-two-way executive rear seats, four-zone climate, panoramic glass tinted to UK private-hire spec. The interior the manufacturer reserves for principal owners; the chauffeur, calibrated by us.

In motion

ii. The drive

Air suspension over the cobbles. Quiet over the M6.

Adaptive air suspension levels the car over Cotswold lanes, motorway joins, hotel forecourts. The cabin does not lurch; the conversation does not break.
