Theatre nights at the Lowry, Champagne lunches in the Lake District, family weekends to the Cotswolds, anniversary tours of Provence. Same chauffeur for the duration. The fixed quote agreed in advance — the wine pairing isn't argued at the kerb.
Private travel
Most of life's good occasions arrive once. The anniversary lunch in Cartmel. The opening night at the Bridgewater. The drive down to the Cotswolds for a friend's birthday. The four-day tour of the Loire your wife has been pencilling in for two years. You don't want to spend it negotiating with a meter.
Private and leisure travel is what we do best, in some sense. The same chauffeur for the duration. The fixed quote, agreed before the day. The cabin chronometer not running like a meter. The route is yours; the timing is yours; the chauffeur is briefed on the things that matter — that the table at L'Enclume is for 19:30; that you'd rather not arrive before twenty past.
Multi-day tours of the UK and continental Europe are arranged with the same standards. Cross-Channel by tunnel; the chauffeur briefed on the route, the hotel, the language requirement, the way the lunch reservation is held until you arrive. The kind of travel you'd otherwise have to plan yourself, planned for you.
Occasions
The kinds of journey clients book us for — a partial list, in no particular order. None of these are upgrades on a base service; they are how the work runs.

Collected at home; set down at the Lowry; the car held discreetly for the second act and the post-show drink on Deansgate.

L'Enclume at 13:00. The drive there as part of the day — through Saddleworth, the Trough of Bowland, the view at Lyth Valley.

Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. Six in the V-Class, full luggage, the chauffeur held against the diary across both days.

Tunnel from Folkestone, on through Reims to Lyon and Avignon. Same chauffeur, same Sprinter, the entire eight-day programme.

Through the back-of-house at the racecourse; the table at lunch held until you arrive; the post-presentation move to dinner at Hawksmoor.

By road through the Lakes and the Borders. Three nights at the Caledonian; the return on the East Coast scenic; the day arranged.

What's included
The job is to remove every small consideration that gets between you and the day — the way the chauffeur holds the door, the way the car waits, the way the route was thought about.
Day-trips, weekends and multi-day tours all run with the same named chauffeur. He learns the day; you stop briefing him by hour three.
The price is the price. Mileage, time, ferry, tunnel, parking — included in the quote where applicable, never introduced after the day.
If you'd like, we'll call ahead. The table is held; the back-of-house entry is arranged; the post-theatre kerb is reserved.
UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Monaco. Tunnel-route or ferry. Same chauffeur, same vehicle, the language end of things handled.
For an evening at the theatre, a long lunch or an afternoon at Daylesford — the car is held discreetly nearby, no kerbside conversation.
Two with luggage in the Range Rover, six in the V-Class, eight in the Sprinter. We pair the vehicle to the day, not the other way around.
Fleet pairing
Range Rover for two. V-Class for six. Sprinter for the long days, the multi-day tours, the journeys you'd rather sleep through.

The default for couples and individual principals. Quiet, capable, equally at home in the city or on the lakeside lane.

Six with full luggage. The Cotswolds weekend, the family run to the lakes, the airport drop with the relatives in tow.

Reclining cabin built for long roads. Provence, the Loire, Salzburg, the Italian lakes. The car becomes the journey.
Read about the Sprinter →"The point of arranging the car like this is that the day arrives already in motion. The car waits; the table is held; the restaurant has been called. You walk into the evening, not into the planning of one."A long-standing client — an anniversary in November
Questions
Three hours for an evening; four hours for a day-out; multi-day quoted as a fixed package. The fee covers all wait time within the booking — we don't restart the meter outside a restaurant.
Yes — for repeat clients especially. We'll suggest the route, the lunch stop, the back-of-house entry, the half-day excursion. The chauffeur knows the regions we run, often by name and reservation.
Yes. Through the tunnel by default; ferry on request. France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco regularly. The chauffeur is multilingual where the route requires it; hotels and restaurants are briefed before arrival.
Always — the wait is included in the booking, never charged separately within the booked window. The car is held in a discreet location nearby, with the chauffeur reachable on direct mobile.
The day is yours. Add a stop, change a venue, extend by an hour — tell the chauffeur. Adjustments within the booking window aren't surcharged. Genuine extensions are flagged transparently and the additional time priced at a fair posted rate.
Yes — included in the multi-day quote. Hotel-grade accommodation at or near the principal's hotel, so the chauffeur is on hand for unscheduled movements.
