Packing for a business trip is very different to filling your suitcase before a family holiday, as you need to make sure you have all the technology you will require for during, and after, your journey.
Here are some tips on what gadgets you need to pack, so you can hop into your private transfer to the airport without worrying you’ve left something important at home.
Chargers
Do not leave home without all the relevant chargers, including one for your phone, laptop, tablets, headphones, and battery packs. There is nothing worse than not being able to use something because it has run out of charge!
Adapters
On the same note, make sure you also have the right travel adapter for the country you are travelling to.
Lots of plugs just have USB ports these days, but it is sensible to bring the right plug heads as well, in case the airport or hotel you are using does not have USB sockets.
Noise cancelling headphones
With so many business meetings taking place on video calls these days, it is essential you bring noise-cancelling headphones so you can still take part in them whether you are in a busy cafe at the airport, or waiting in the departure lounge.
These will block out the surrounding sound, so you and your business partners can hear each other clearly.
They are also great at helping you unwind when you are not working, so you can get some sleep on the flight and feel rested when you arrive.
Portable hotspots
While airports offer Wi-Fi these days, the connection can often be hit and miss. That is why it is sensible to have a portable Wi-Fi hotspot device, so you can access secure and reliable internet connection whenever you need it.
